1. Booking and Payment

• Pricing: The cost for the Lakaz Experience is £1,700 per person, with additional costs based on room selection.

• Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the retreat.

• Cancellation Policy:

  • If a booking is cancelled by the participant:

    • 25% of the total payment is non-refundable, regardless of when the cancellation occurs.

    • If the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the retreat start date, 75% of the payment will be refunded.

    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 60 days before the retreat start date.

  • If the retreat is cancelled by the organiser, participants will receive a full refund.

• Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card or bank transfer.

2. Health, Wellness, and Insurance

• Medical Conditions and Dietary Needs: Participants are required to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or dietary needs at the time of booking. Special dietary requests will be accommodated where possible.

• Liability Waiver: All participants must sign a liability waiver prior to attending the retreat. This waiver releases the organisers from liability related to injuries or accidents occurring during physical activities such as yoga, hiking, biking, or other wellness sessions.

• Travel Insurance: All participants must obtain and provide proof of valid travel insurance that covers them for the duration of the retreat, including medical emergencies and trip cancellations.

3. Accommodation and Meals

• Accommodation: Accommodation will be offered based on room selection at the time of booking. Both shared and private rooms are available, with additional costs depending on the type of room selected.

• Meals: All meals are included in the retreat. Attendees can request special dietary accommodations, such as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free meals, at the time of booking.

4. Activities and Schedule

• Activities Included: The retreat includes a variety of wellness activities such as yoga, meditation, massages, foot treatments, biking, tennis, and personal training sessions.

• Participation: Participation in activities is optional, and attendees are free to choose which activities they wish to attend. Each participant is entitled to two 1:1 treatments per day for three days.

• Changes to Schedule: The retreat organisers reserve the right to alter the schedule due to factors such as weather or unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.

5. Behaviour and Conduct

• Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to show respect and common courtesy to others during the retreat. This includes being mindful of noise levels, especially during quiet times.

• Quiet Hours: While there are no strict quiet hours, participants are expected to maintain a peaceful and respectful atmosphere during the retreat.

6. Intellectual Property and Media

• Recording and Photos: Attendees are welcome to take photos and videos during the retreat. However, consent must be obtained from other participants before including them in any media. The organisers will also take photos or videos for promotional purposes, and participants will be asked to provide consent before being included in any media.

• Ownership of Content: Any workshops or teachings provided during the retreat remain the intellectual property of the professionals conducting the sessions. Attendees are not permitted to reproduce or distribute any content without express permission.

7. Force Majeure and Event Changes

• In the event of unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of the organisers (such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other emergencies), the retreat may be cancelled or postponed. In such cases, participants will be notified, and any non-refundable costs (such as accommodation deposits) will be retained. Participants are encouraged to have travel insurance to cover such eventualities.

8. Legal Information

• Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to UK law.

• Dispute Resolution: Any disputes will be handled through mediation before resorting to litigation or arbitration. Both parties agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve any disputes amicably.

9. Miscellaneous

• Special Requests: We are happy to accommodate special requests, such as room preferences or assistance with transportation to the venue, wherever possible.

• Age Restrictions: The retreat is for adults only (18+).

• Accessibility: While we aim to be inclusive, the venue may have limitations regarding accessibility for individuals with disabilities or special mobility needs. Please contact us in advance if you have specific requirements, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
